Curiosity: The Big and Small Schlüter

On Oxfam Trailwalker weekend in September the campsite Eulenburg was in Osterode am Harz hundreds of motivated runners to not only host, but also a very special visit. At first glance, nothing spectacular: a camping guest from Duisburg traveled with his trailer and his dog, the resin and made a stop at the campsite Eulenburg in Osterode am Harz. The trailer was not pulled by a car ...

... but from a well-kept, red tractor (!) Of the brand "Schlueter.

Just a tractor, but at least one size larger (4.5 tons), including the camping Eulenburg. The "big Schlüter" is used there for odd jobs.

only 291 km from Osterode to Duisburg Duisburg
Our guest was evident for several months on the road from his home town, along the French border to the North Sea, Baltic Sea, along the Polish border, and now again on the way back Duisburg. On the descent he was pleased when he looked at his GPS: still 291 km - with a top speed of 19 mph!

His dog sat down beside him and seemed to also look forward to, as they drove across the bridge of the campsite in the direction of home. The brake parachute was rolled up while driving.
